After the joy of yesterday’s thousandth post comes the humiliation of the internet connection going awry so that I can’t load any pictures today and I will be pleased if even this brief message can get through. Everything is going at a snail’s pace and the connection keeps timing out. I will try again tomorrow morning. I don’t know whether it is a fault on our line or with my internet provider.
