Today’s guest picture comes from Venetia and shows a couple of handsome Suffolk Punch horses at her local countryside museum.
We rose early and made our way after breakfast to this handsome church in the university quarter of the town…
… and then we spent the rest of the day singing, culminating in a concert with a Glasgow choir also trained by our musical director.
Then we retired to our hotel where it didn’t take long before singing started again in the bar.
I am quite tired.
Sounds like almost too much singing.
A singing good time! In the bar, even. No wonder you are tired.
You did well to put out a post in the circumstances.
Looking forward to hearing all about it š
Sounds like a wonderful time, and a “good” sort of tired.
You need to be careful with all that singing – it’s clearly harder work that I thought. Glad to hear you have had an enjoyable time.
It takes it out of you after the first five hours.
I imagine there is a lot of concentration going into it when you are performing. This can be wearing.
Indeed.
That sounds like immense good fun!
It was.
