A very satisfactory day.

It was the day of the funeral service for Mrs Tootlepedal’s mother. We were blessed with sunny weather, a moving ceremony, and an excellent family gathering at Mrs Tootlepedal’s brother’s house afterwards.

I put in another picture of the Thames, taken from Marlow Bridge in the morning, which reflects the fact that it wasn’t a day of gloom at all.

  1. Having lost my mom 8+ years ago, I send you my good thoughts. It’s never easy to loose the person who has known you longer than anyone else in the world so later there are always these questions you wish you had asked. They follow me as they will you. I love the photos of you all all.

  2. Good to hear that all went well on this memorable day and that you had such lovely weather. That is a fine picture of the river.
