We spent the day with Mrs Tootlepedal’s sister, her brothers and their wives taking some time to remember her mother who died last year.
We visited a favourite spot of hers beside a windmill and then went for a pub lunch nearby.
A road accident ahead of us caused roads to be closed so we had an entertaining drive home on some exceptionally narrow lanes.
Tomorrow Mrs Tootlepedal is going to pick asparagus.
It was a very cloudy day so I can’t do justice to the lovely scenery of the Chiltern hills which we enjoyed today.
