Hard to imagine a better day

Today’s picture shows a lovely sunny day in Langholm this morning… …so needless to say, we had made a plan to leave the town as soon as possible.  This meant an early visit to the producers’ market to stock up on fish, cheese and venison mince followed by a rendezvous with Sandy at Wauchope Cottage. 

Not a frost at all

Today’s picture is of an unexpected return of a flock of waxwings, back on the walnut tree at getting up time. It was an absolutely gorgeous day but very cold.
